100 friends and family traveled from far and wide to join the happy couple in New Orleans, LA and celebrate their beautiful wedding.
Bridgette and I have long admired each others art - she's an amazing painter & one of my favorite pieces of hers hangs in my home. I was honored to join them and tell their wedding story.
The stage is set at the New Orleans Board of Trade, a historical building with a service dating back to 1880 when it was founded as a non-profit membership organization comprised of key leaders in the business community. The New Orleans Board of Trade over the course of its history would be deemed the foremost authority on the River, on commodity commerce, with a specialty in coffee importation.

The view from under the chuppah (canopy), a symbol of the home that the new couple will build together. It is open on all sides to welcome people in unconditional hospitality.

This dress! Fully captures the vibe of the city as well as the brides artistic personality.

First look - followed by portraits in the lovely colorful blocks surrounding the building. (On and around Magazine Street in what is know as the Warehouse District.)

Stuck at a red light, might as well do a little dancing.

Let's twirl a bit before we get serious.

Signing the Ketubua. (Marriage contract)

Oh, wait. We are in New Orleans, things don't stay serious for long - as musical parade passes outside on the street.

At twilight, the second ceremony begins.

Sisters. xoxo

The ceremony took place under the stars, sealed with a kiss. (And not pictured, the breaking of the glass by the groom.)

The incredible Phat Hat band.

Scott performs a surprise solo act for his bride.

Dancing the hora - the band prefaced this with - "we've never played this song before" - They nailed it!

I loved visiting this wonderful and friendly city for the first time. It was as romantic a setting as you could wish for - rich with it's own history, fabulous architecture, music... and don't forget food!
